A few weeks back I installed a new big t-28 turbo on my 97 gs-t....among a few other simple bolt-ons. No big deal really, took it out and it drives fine, boost was relatively smooth for not being tuned yet. I wanted to break the turbo in before I buried the throttle to see what she could do. Well just yesterday was that day, but much to my surprise when I sunk the throttle the turbo would boost but it felt almost as if my clutch was slipping (brand new clutch) it would just not put the power down. It boosts fine if i give it less than full throttle, but as soon as the pedal hits like 95% on, the boost just keeps building and then dumbing repeatedly. Any ideas on whats going on here, could it be that it just needs to be tuned for the new turbo?
