Yes,My car has bone stock internals now.Stock studs and hg too.I'm just gunna wait till the hg blows then do arps.I had Lucas English tune it and hes pretty much a bad ass.I have ecmlinkv3,pte 1000cc injectors,wally 255 pump,and all that good stuff but bone stock internals LOL.Internal wise I just want a set of fp 272 cams then I'll be good.
Yes I mean internal o2.Or just get a 2g o2 housing and port the hell out of it.

wow thats a lot of boost i bet she rages! ive got arp head studs on my car so i think ill be ok. I think im going to get an internal o2 dump and try it out, would you recommend getting one from ebay or are they shit?
 
I think non moving parts off ebay ar fine I wouldnt buy a turbo or anything but I do buy a lot of other things on ebay.I bought my external o2 dump on ebay and it was actually well made.I have had it for around 9 months or so and its fine and no rust at all.

alright good, i think ill give it a try. did you notice any performance increase when you put it on?
 
I didnt notice any performance I just need to get my full 3in mandrel bent turboback I think I will notice a bit more power with that sucker and some fp2 cams!:hellyeah:I just want a 350HP DD....Good luck with the o2 housing
 
get your 02 housing ported also port the waste gate section of the turbo, while the turbo's off you can port that also, waste gate dumps help some time but are really loud and draw alot of attention. 3"exhaust would be a benefit for you if you ever plan on running a bigger turbo.
 
ok so i got my boost gauge finally hooked up and i had a freind ride with me so he could stare at the boost gauge..heres the problem.im hittting 1st gear 10psi spiking to 13 2nd gear im hitting 12 spiking to 14psi.and 3 gear im spiking all the way up to 16psi.i checked my actautor and its fine.i feel that my car pulls extremly hard now but its cutting out on top of 4th gear seems like a creep of boost or somethiing..im running open down pipe no cat.just the exaust pipe with the flex pipe.every gear its fine exept high in 4th and 5th it does it realy bad.sometimes in 3rd can somebody help its annoying LOL.
 
One option is to port the wastegate hole and area on the turbine housing of your turbo, and port out the oxygen sensor housing as well. OR, you could just run a full exhaust, that might fix it :)
 
yea i was thinkin that i might just go and buy a whole 3 in catback.boost creeping sucks bigtime i hate it LOL..is there an exhaust that deletes the catback.thats not to expensive??
 
oh ok i just dont want to loose alot of power by puttin a bigger more restricted exaust on it..ima go to a muffler shop and see if they can fab me up one for cheap.

GL man. Also try running a logger with it while you are driving next time and see what is happening.
 
I would say it can and couldn't. Kinda hard to say. Also you wouldn't pass a SMOG test with an external wastegate.
 
there are no smog test in kansas we dont even get inspected you can run no cat all you want..but ive heard it helps stop any of all boost creep.to bad i dont think they make a manifold for the td05h with the external wastegate flange on it???
 
Not that I know of. You can check with Megan, Punishment, or one of my favs STM to see if they have one. If not maybe you can just have one custom made.
 
you could just have your stock one modified, add an external flange. It would solve your problem.
 
fp makes an external gate for mitsu flange and there are other ways that you can go about externally gating your turbo
 
were would the external gate flange be cut out on my manifold.does anyone have pics of it being done??.ima check fp to.
 
I am having boost creep issues with my internallly gated tdo5h 20g turbo and looking for a SOLID solution. I have a atmospheric dump at the O2 housing, which by the way did NOT help. So Now I'm thinking of welding the flapper shut and getting a External Gate Setup. I've looked around the forums and could not an aswer to my question regarding choosing the right set up for me. The External Gate I have made up my mind on a 38mm Tial Wastegate. Now, the exhaust manifold is the tricky part. I've seen some manifolds that run off where the 4 runners(which are really pricy) and some that run off the Cyl#1 runner.

This Is the Exhaust Manifold that I've been looking at:

Here is the Wastegate....Thinking about a 14.5 psi Spring(1.0 Bar):

Has anyone had this set up with that turbo? Did it work??
Any advice will be truley appreciated, since I don't have money to throw down to the drain. This is set up is as Expensive as it is.
