Ok so i just changed my fuel filter..and now my car wont start i usually have to use starting fluid or brake cleaner to get it started, doesn't have a probluem staying running...any suggestions on what it may be...its a 4g63T 6bolt main

i know i installed the filter right..and its getting fuel it just seems like its not igniting the fuel...i cleaned my spark plugs and the wires are good...so would it be the coil possibly?

Start with the basics. Are there any boost leaks? IC Pipe Tester Is the timing correct? Timing Belt VFAQ (Timing Belt TSB - ENHANCED) Ignition timing? Engine Timing Is your Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor functioning properly and reading the correct temperature? This will cause the car to run really rich or lean during cranking until the motor gets warmed up. Does it have good compression? cylinder leakage compression test vfaq at dsmgrrrl.com If not what is the cause? engine leakdown test leak down at dsmgrrrl.com Then from there see if it continues. I would also try and check fuel pressure if you have the tools available.

P.S. Our cars have a 6 bolt crank and 2 bolt main.
