trouble with 98 gst

i have a eclipse 98 gst upgraded turbo 16g this is my first turbo car.. i bought this car and the transmission went out 2 weeks after driving it... i was getting 15 psi on my boost gauge before now after i get it back the boost gauge is showing im getting around 40 psi which aint right because a 16g cant put that amount in but the car is jerking like taking off then stopping im thinking there is a vacuum line crossed?

can anyone help me out

so was your transmission replaced? was the car worked on? and if it was did you mess with anything related to the turbo system? make sure your waste gate is still hooked up to a boost source, as close to the turbo outlet as possible.

well yes i took it a trasmission shop and got it back now its all out of wack but like i said this is my first turbo car so i dont know whats going on but its an automatic

ok so where is the wastegate located so i can check

It should be located on the turbo, its a goldish looking thing with a nipple on it. make sure there is a vacuum line attached to it. that vacuum line should go to a boost source.
