What do you mean "spacers"?

If its the dowels one at each bottom corner of the tranny to engine block, you'll need them. Its been pointed to as a cause of clutch problems when there left out.

It your talking about the sheet metal piece that bolts to your starter; I don't think I've heard of it being left out. Off the top of my head, I can even think if you could mount the starter with out it. I know that piece is FWD AWD specific. If the wrong one is used, the starter will grind or not engage.

If its something else, you'll need to be more specific.

For a 90 N/T, the part is called the Cylinder Block Plate, part number MD030141.

JNZtuning has it listed in their OEM parts lookup for $16.12 - for reference sake.
