Well 10 years and who knows how many launches and NLTSs later the trans finally went on the way home from a meet Thursday. No complaints here that was a hell of a transmission. I can never resist doing a 3 gear pull in the Pittsburgh tunnels and went to NLTS into 4th and felt a little pop. Limped it up to a place that I could get a tow. When home it wouldn't even roll or move in gear. Seems something is locked up even though it would move fine although sounding like a can of marbles... up until the point of the tow. We litterally had to drag it off the flatbed and something punched a little hole by the drain plug. Whats the fastest way to make this thing roll as it's probably 100 feet from the garage. Pulling all the axles or getting under the car where it is sitting is going to be a tad unsafe. Would pulling the cap off the trans off help my case at all? unfortunatly I have wheel dollies but the concrete is 20 feet away and it's sitting in gravel as the tow truck driver didn't have the room to cut the angle in my driveway.
