Hey guys I was trying to finish up my eclipse. Anyways got the transfer case on the transmission. Got all the bolts started and was going around to start torquing them down. Got to this bolt and it never wanted to tighten down. Looked at it and this happened.
Welcome to Facebook

Now what would you guys do? I doubt I can run without this bolt. The ear for the bolt has split all the way across. I figure Im going to have to pull the transmission for the 2nd time in my 4 month ownership.

Trans has to come out again. Weld that crack and re-thread the hole. I would use a threaded sleave or helicoil on the hole now just to be on the safe side.
