Tranny fluid

god i hate to ask this cause its embarrassing, but hwere in the hell is the tranny fluid..thing, resivour or whatever its called. my car never came with a manual and so idk anything about my car. 1.8 eclipse.....if this helps. sorry for the newb question

i believe my tranny is on the oppisite side, upon inspection (first gen), but i maybe wrong, im not mechanicly incline u kno.

a friend of mine asked a friend who is a fellow 94 eclipse owner, and he told me to get to my tranny fluids and what not i have to go through my center console. is this true?

1g tranny isa on passenger side. on bottom part of the tranny there is a huge ass nut. ill take a pic of it and post ti in a sec. its like a 15/16 nut. take that otu fluid will drain. then there will be another nut on top half of tranny to fill it. i dotn understand why you would have to go through the center consol when the tranny doesnt even reach the firewall.

heres the pics. top plug is where i filled mine and bottom is where i drained it. big plug is in tight so just bring a pipe r something under there with you.hope this helps
