I Have Just Purchased A 1991 2.0 4g63t And 5speed Awd Tranny I Am Going To Be Putting It Into My 91 N/t Fwd Eclipse Gs. I Need To Find Out What All Is Needed For The Swap.

You're going to need a new car first if you want to use that transmission. The motor is swappable but it's more hassle and headache than anything. But, since I know you are going to be dissapointed and want some answers, the motor swap is possible but you are going to need just about the entire front end of a turbo car. Here's a good place to start:

FWD turbo transmission
FWD turbo clutch
FWD flywheel
FWD turbo wiring harness
FWD turbo ECU
FWD turbo exhaust
intercooler piping
intercooler
intake piping
etc. and the list goes on

You'll save yourself a hassle and a lot of trouble if you sell your car and buy a turbo car. However, it is possible to make the conversion. It is not possible however, to make it AWD.

ok i agree you cant make it a awd.... awd and fwd are 2 diff chasis. i am going to get a new fwd turbo tranny and still keeping the 4g63t.i have got a friend with the ecu and wiring harness he will give me.the reason i am redoing the tranny is because i just recently got the car and i am not sure exactly how bad of condition the tranny is in.for a rebuilt motor and tranny i only costing me $1500.00.... i already have most of what i need for the swap... does anyone know where to get a 4pc bodykit for a good price? i appreciate the feedback it helped alot.

The turbo FWD transmissions are made to be slightly tougher than the N/A version. Try putting a N/A transmission on a turbo car and it will drasticly reduce it's lifespan.

Try the exterior dressup forum for more on the bodykit.
