Tranmission noise

The Fluid looks good, then it may be internally. The solenoid next to the transmission on our A604 can cause problems with other internals. A "transmission pressure test" should get you a quick, easy problem solver to find out what the problem is! You can always drop the pan and see if you have an shavings/What metal you have floating around! What you can do is run it until, it burns up. Meanwhile you can buy another one or rebuild a used one at the fraction of the cost. Ours transmissions are known as "Throw-a-ways", because they are so bad. You can swap them out for a 42LE and never have a transmission problem again....just my $.02 on what I see here/there! Good Luck

thanks that's very helpful. i've been having that annoying noise since i got the car. I want to fix it before I turbo the car because who know what that might lead to. Just trying to prevent any more problems if I can.
