Yes, I think Andrew forgot to mention that . Slowboy did an amazing job getting a great head together for us in ONE DAY and even letting us borrow an intake manifold when we blew ours up the night before the import race.

I think it was actually UNDER 8 hours Joe ;-).

The head failure we had at Beaver was traced to an oil pressure issue with the oil pump we had on there, apparently cams like to have oil haha.

No necessarily an oil pump failure, more of an alcohol induced assembly error . Apparently we can build a 10sec pump gas car while drinking the best belgian beer made, but we should torque the oil pump housing bolts the morning after.

The intake manifold blew up while we were chasing an ignition/power system problem. It litteraly blew the plenum apart and into the firewall.

I'll get Andrew to throw up some pics of the manifold and our sweet new rear diffuser.

Yes, car is on 4 slicks. I doubt that the car will see the dyno again on the 3052. On the last couple passes I never even paid attention to the boost, but I'd assume it's somewhere around 33psi. Car weighs around 2600lbs, but as you all know, it went 10's on pump gas full weight as well. The mod list really isn't too complicated. 2.3, 3052, FP3 cams, Slowboy built head (which they turned around from a head core to a fully built head ready to race in one day---thanks a lot guys!!), Shep trans, and that's about it.

I think I speak for everyone when I say we would all love to see what kind of horsepower numbers the FP3052 is really pulling before you retire the turbo. If money is the issue, I don't know about everyone else, but I'd be willing to throw in a couple dollars as a FP3052dyno donation.

Ha, money is always the issue. I'm having a really hard time coming up with the money to get the car back up for the Shootout. I wish I owned one of the big shops and had an unlimited budget, but unfortuneately I don't. Donations are always welcome, .

Yes they did kegs and thats why I decided to get 1
