Looks & sounds amazing. Runs an 8.0 on what are probably "shakedown" or "low boost" runs. And, the car didn't even go straight......granted, better for our viewing pleasure. Whelp, all at the shootout this weekend are in for a treat with Shep I'm sure. Hopefully someone will get some good vids....

Yeah, just too much going on to even think about going. I've been only to two shootouts, 1998, which was a killer weekend, and 2004 when I developed an ear infection on the way out and was just a devil to be around. If the Shootouts were as far as E-town, I would've been to every one since 1996. It's just too much of a drive for what goes on there. However, to see Shep run....it's worth it.

low boost in race cars is almost always more than high boost in a street car. Those were probably 40-45psi runs.

I realize that. By low boost I meant maybe 50 or so in reference to Shep. I'm just speculating based on his past accomplishments....

MM MM MMM!!!!! Damn that sure does put a smile on my face. And for what its worth; a few years ago Shep was at an event at Atco Raceway in NJ and he ended up breaking something. May have been something in the drivetrain, don't really remember. But anyway, we helped push his car into the trailer. And i still have not washed my hands!!!

Reminds me of when the MAP RX-7 broke down after it made its run and I helped pushed it off the side of the return lane. I watched shep run one year and it was amazing, same year brent rau ran his car. Damnit I am going next year.
