Tools for Timing Belt Swap/Balance Shaft Elim.? Help!

For my '97 GS-T
OK I just received my Timing Belt Package/Waterpump/Balance Shaft Elimination kit/& Front Seal kit and I have a variety of different instructions on how to remove the b-shaft and swap the timing belt. I'm pretty clear of the labor so far but I am confuzzled on exactly which tools I need to order/fabricate. Apparently, there are some "special tools" that I need to perform the b-shaft removal...but which? I am aware of the t-belt tensioner tool needed-but I read (somewhere) that I can just use a battery tie-down bolt (or something like it). I went to Kragen and saw a bunch of different Permatex RTV tubes...which do I need? Theres blue, grey, black, red, etc. Isn't there a universal RTV that will accommodate the plugs for the b-shaft, the waterpump, and the oil pan? Also, theres supposedly another "special tool" that I need to remove the crank sprocket (to remove the front case)?

Anyone with experience of swapping their T-Belt and removing their balance shafts, I need your help. I've read the FAQs on vfaqs, this site, & Slowboy racing.

(Please, as noob as the questions may be, no suggestions to have a shop do it)

Thanks, I've read that post already. It's a good note for changing the timing belt on a vehicle that already has its balance shafts removed...
