The car i have has too much endplay in the turbo, so am going to upgrade it.
For now i will keep the boost under 14 PSI, until I complete the Engine management part of the build, I will be going with a standalone of some sort, right now i am leaning towards a M/S system.
Heres what i am working with.
I want the car to remain a pump gas car that i can drive anywhere i want to.
I have tial 38mm sitting around, so it can be an external wastegated turbo.
Gonna get a new manifold as well, so suggestions there are appriciated as well.
Heres the basic specs on the car so far--
Stock computer
full 2.5" exhaust(will be replaced soon)
stock 4g
Shep stage 3
Again, any suggestions for the turbo and manifold are greatly appriciated!
Thanks
E. Louie.

That SBR piece is nice, but expensive. A ported 2g manifold will more than meet your needs. Not to mention very cheap if you can find a nice used one.

Turbos vary greatly in performance so that's something you will have to research and decide on for yourself. Do you want fast spool or lots of top end? I personally like the PTE5031dBB. It's not called "The Pump King" for nothing. :)
