The threaded rod used to compress the autotensioner is not making proper contact with my tensioner arm. Instead the tool wore out the back side of the arm from rubbing against it. Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if its just a mistake I made.

I always use the 1g tensioner arm drill/tap and screw In a short 10mm bolt at the back of the tensioner arm and grinde it flat where the tensioner tool makes contact, this way you can use the tensioner tool as it was a stock 7 bolt motor, I always use some RED THREAD LOCKER to make sure the bolt doesn't go anywhere, you can even use some jb weld too.
