timing question

So I'm getting ready to start my car finally and I'm just double checking every thing. The problem I've run into is that when the cams are lined up the timing mark on the crank pulley and cover don't line up. So I took off the pulley to look at the timing mark on the block and tone wheel and their lined up with the cams. Anyone have this happen?

The marks on the timing cover and crank pulley are for ignition timing, not mechanical timing. The ignition timing marks tell you nothing about mechanical timing.

Your mechanical timing marks are behind the timing cover on the trigger plate and front case:

Yeah those are the timing marks I have in timing. So Im good then thanks.
