timing help!!!

my car was running fine untill i replaced the bearings with standard size race bearings now the car will not start unless you have your foot on the gas pedal and it will not stay running for more than 15-30 seconds if you take your foot off the pedal.Also while it is idiling on its on it has only 1-3 inches of vacuum. the vaccum will go to 10-15 if you rev the car up and take your foot off the pedal. My questions is can this be timing related.Is it possible something got out of alignment by turning the crank over by hand to replace the bearings?There are no vacuum leakes that i can find!
 
Boost leak test is that done, how is it tuned software of any, hand turning crank shouldnt matter, if bearing was a issue you would know it wouldnt move if something there was wrong . Got fuel, air, check compression. Engine work done, at all, if so what? To replace bearings you mean the engine was rebuilt correct.

the car is running a sfac its spun a rod bearing on number1 cylinder so i just went ahead and plasti gauged everything and put standard size bearings back in. it wouldnt be a boost leak because no piping was removed. as i said before the car ran fine before the spun bearing. i havent done a compression test yet. the motor is a standard bore with forged rods and pistons
 
I'm guessing you just replaced the bearings without taking the crank to the machine shop.
How come there was no piping removed.
Exactly what did you removed to replace the bearings.??

the only piping removed was for the exhaust i pulled the oil pan and replaced them from the bottom of the motor. only piping was the down pipe on the exhaust

Spun a rod bearing how was the crank after that happened, was it damaged at all. Atl nice im a ga native.

the crank appeared fine there were no scratches or ridges in it at all

Make sure all your timing marks line up and double check anything you had your hands on. Its easy to forget something or overlook a connection.

this is what im worried about. i think something may have slipped when i was rotating the motor over at the crank by hand. i know the marks should line up if the dowel pins are at 12"oclock but is there a certain number of times the engine should be rotated before they line up? would the car being out of time cause the no vacuum issue as well

is there a certain number of times i should have to turn the motor over to get the marks to line up
