i have a problem with my car, wen i first had it, it ran and turned on fine and i recently did a timing belt service on it and now it dont start.. all the timing marks are alingned but that leads me woundering if the oil balance shaft would hav anything to do with not starting???

delet balance shaft??? wats that?? all i did was replace the timing belt and allinged all the marks bcs i accadently moved the balance shaft gear out of timing

No the oil pump wouldn't cause the motor not to start. If the timing is not out then I would suspect something not reconnected. Did you unplug the CAS or anything like that when you did the job. Just retrace all the steps you did to take the car apart and you will find your problem.

i got spark and fuel, but it still wont start, i hear a winding noise wen i crank it, it didnt do that back then.. any ideas??

Damn i think i broke the CAS when pulling out the cam. could that cause the car not to fire up

if the cas is broken then you won't have fuel or spark. make sure it's not 180 degrees out.

### year did they start putting the cam shapt position sensor in the front instead of the back?? 1999?? bcs i think i hav an engine swap...
