I was wondering if my timing was set a little high? My car has alot of knock on 10psi unless i run race gas, RRE told me it was becuase of the higher compression pistons. But isnt my timing a idle supposed to be 5*?

Why do you think your timing at idle is susposed to be 5* BTDC?
That's what you set it to when the timing adjust connector is grounded but that's not what you actually run.
Typical value at close to sea level is about 8 and will vary as the ECU controls the idle.

From what I read about and understood is that at idle it would be near 15* BTDC.
Like I said above, on a 1G the FSM nominal value at idle is 8* BTDC not 15*.

Short of reprograming the ECU you have no control over timing curves so as long as you set the CAS per the manual the timing will follow the factory maps.

Sure, get a EPROM ECU programmed (chip or DSMLink) for your MAFT and 750cc injectors. Right now your fibbing so much about the airflow that the ECU isn't in the right load and is giving you too much timing.

You can run smaller injectors reducing the amount your fibbing.

You can retard the CAS. That backs off the timing across the board.
