Recently I got a blow head gasket. I've removed everything to pull the head and all I need to do now is pull the timing belt. While working on my car is nothing new for me, I've never had to take off a timing belt before. That being said I would like to know the easiest and fastest way to do this. I have the vfaq pulled up but it doesn't show how to remove the accessory belts which I would like to know. Id like to know step by step exactly what to do as I really have to pull the head and get it to the machine shop by today. I also don't have the special timing belt tools but I just have to get it off for now and my friends who is a big time dsmer is gonna help me put everything back on.

This is the one I was looking at but I still dont know how to remover alternator belt

It says it right there. Remove the water pump pulley bolts then remove the belts.

Loosen the water pump pulley bolts. Remove the alternator/water pump drive belts, and the power steering drive belt.Important: Loosen water pump pulley bolts before removing belt.Remove water pump pulley.Remove the tensioner pulley bracket and the A/C belt.

I already loosened the water pump pulley bolts , how exactly do you relive tension on the alternator belt and pull it ?

I don't have a 1g but I would assume you slide the bracket back to relive tension on the belts. Read the link and look at the pictures. If I ha more time I would look over it more but I'm at work. There should be adjustment on the alternator too for tension at least mine does on a 2g.

On the top of the alt is a tensioning bolt hooked to the slider bracket. Loosen the bolt that is threaded into the alt. Then, loosen the tensioning bolt. Its a tight squeeze with the fan installed. While you are loosening the tensioning bolt, pull up on the alt belt. You will feel the belt loosen as you turn the bolt.

I loosened bolt the longer bolt and the locking bolt but nothing happened

The 2 in the picture? Did you pull up on the belt? There's a nut at the bottom of the alt, where it pivots. You might have to loosen it also, as it could prevent the alt from moving.
Did the tensioning bolt loosen up to the point where it would pop out of the bracket?
