ticking/knocking engine (VID)

Well I just bought a 1990 GST not to long ago and when I bought it the guy said that the engine is knocking or ticking and posted the problem on youtube and the people on youtube are telling me new lifters and I decided to post here about the problem and also here's the video.

i'd say its a rod knock is your check engine light on

once i get the car put back together I'm gonna do engine diagnostic test see if theres anything wrong and im gonna se eif check engine light comes on and last time I turned it on I would of saw it and told my friend the check engine light is on.
