So I got my freshly built motor in, and other than a few problems, most of which I understand, I can not find the source of a ticking sound..

-On the timing side of motor
-Have poked around with my stethoscope and I have poked the head, pan, PS pump, alternator, and AC compressor, timing cover, and nothing sounds like the problem..

When it quits trying to snow outside, I will pull off my acc. belts and see if it still is doing it..

Anything else someone can provide insight towards?

Couple more symptoms..

-Speeds up if you raise the revs
-Volume stays the same, no increase really with higher revs.
