2G Throttle

My pedal seems to be stiff and once it moves it turns smooth. What can I do to fix this I researched and it seems to be linked with the title cable, will try cleaning but any advise ?

Maybe you need to adjust the stop screw. The small screw with a 8mm lock nut under the springs. If this is not adjusted and the plate is fully closed, then you would get a caught when you open the throttle at the first time.
Or the cable is physically worn or rusty.

It can only be the cable or throttle body. Remove the cable from the throttle body and see if you can turn the throttle body. Do you have cruise control?

I'm not entirely sure, I bought the car with hg needing replacement and barely got it fixed.

I'm trying to figure out what it has. It doesnt have access belt, and seems to be stock as well.
