Hey I have a 92 Eagle Talon TSI and my problem is with the throttle. Whenever I'm at WOT the throttle gets stuck and hits the rev limiter around 7100 RPM. The gas pedal doesnt get stuck because I try and rev it to get it out of its stuck positioning. If I put it in neutral and then shift to another gear it frees itself. But justs happens all over again at WOT. I've checked the cable and it has some scratch marks, but there is nothing for it to get snagged on around those scratches. Oh and my pedals are stock, I'm against that neon light look.

Feedback is highly appreciated :talon:

you want to know what a lubricant is use silicone spray not wd-40. i can 't believe people still buy that stuff. plus you will never find a can of that in any respectable shop. usually i use graphite oil or anitseizing compound but that involves a lot of labor to do properly. just be lazy and get a silicone spray or you can use wd-40 to clean the surface and get any moisture out then put silicone on it to lube it.

Hey guys. I sprayed the throttle cable down with wd-40 and put some lubrication oil on the part of the wire that was scratched. The first try it got stuck but since then it hasnt happened once. Thanks a lot.
