Talon Tsi AWD with 210k as daily driver?

So I have been looking for a DSM for a few months now. So far pretty much everything I have found has been pretty beat. However I was contacted by a member of these forums who is considering selling his 97 Tsi AWD. It has a evo 3 16g with 560 evo injectors, a fuel pump rewire kit, new clutch, balance shaft belt, timing belt, all the timing belt pulleys and idlers replaced. Its also got a MBC at 15ish psi and is tuned using Ceddy mods and evo scan. I have not had the chance to look at it in person yet because its about 2 and a half hours away from me but from the photos I have received it looks quite clean. It will need the ball joints replaced. The mileage sits at 210k miles. Asking price is 4k firm.
So my question is do you guys think this car could be a daily driver? I can only afford one car at the moment. I think 210k is a lot of miles but it looks less trashed than all others I have seen with lower mileage. Any input is appreciated.

Well I just wanted to thank everyone for giving me their opinion. I passed on the talon based on your guys advise and my own feeling. I'm starting to think I will probably have to wait till next spring when I graduate college to get a DSM. That way I can keep my daily and have a DSM.

I'm glad you came to the decision you did. I dailyed my Talon for 5 years and went from a clean car with 90k miles to one that the interior is ruined (wife) and 160k miles. You would have honestly regretted it. These cars are for people who either really want to preserve them or people who want something to have something to play with when they have free time.

I daily drove mine for a while back in 2007-2010, but then thought about how much abuse I was putting on it in stop and go traffic in the heat of the summer and dead cold winters. I was worried that when I did decide to go to the strip with it, something would break and then I didn't have a car to drive to and from work. I decided to park it and update all the maintenance and still have it on the stock bottom end to this day. Since then I've been upgrading things here and there and don't feel rushed to do so. Hope this makes your decision feel better.
