so im finally going to get my talon back from the Mitsu dealership.(never take your car there, they hate workin on them) And im planning to try and run around 300whp for a daily driver. My first plans are 2g MAS, or GM MAF(still debating) now would it be a better choice to go with DSMLink, or SAFC? either way im getting a logger, thats for sure, but i want the best reliable set up to make the most power for a daily driver. Any suggestions?

DSMLink is both a tuning tool and a logger. For 300WHP, you can do either one. It will cost a whole heck of a lot more for DSMLink though. But it is better and easier to tune with if you know what you are doing. If you go with DSMLink, a GM MAF setup will work quite nice with it. And you don't even need to touch the MAF-T to tune. You just leave it at zero across the board and tune with Link.

wow, i didnt know that. I know though that you have to set the DSMLink to accept the GM MAF though right? But im probably gonna go that route, i just got a brand new EPROM ECU put in(not cheap) so thats what i got it for, but ill research that a little more, thanks a ton:thumb:

GM MAF and DSMlink. its worth the money, so if you dont have enough, save up for it. Also, the DSMlink has a lot more adjustability compared to a SAFC.

Pretty sure you are correct. Not quite there yet for me. (MAF/MAF-T setup is going to be one of my last things to do for as much HP as i can get with a perfect tune with my finale setup)

I would suggest reading the whole DSMLink Wiki page because i have heard it has everything you need to know about Link.

yeah im planning to save for it. Im just gonna get all the supporting mods, and what not. I got most of that planned. So hopefully by the late fall ill have DSMLink up and running on my talon.
