I recently bought an APC Tach for my car and hooked it up as the diagrams and instructions with the tach had said but when the car was running it was only reading half of the the RPMs that it should have been if i was pushing 5000 RPMs on the dash Tachometer i was only reading about 2500 RPMs on the APC Tach What is the problem.:laser:

Wrong wire from your ECU? I'm not sure how your tach hooks up, so this is just more of a guess. I know some people have the same RPM issue with their SAFC's. I tapped into my cam angle sensor and I get an accurate reading with my SAFC. However, my stock tach doesn't work anymore.
