i need help with tachometer install, i have a 99gs eclipse and i do not know which wires ineed to hook up to the tach to make it work i have tried tons of different wires but it just wont work if you could please help that would be greatly appreciated.

It can run off the wires on your coil. Is the tach for a 4cyl? Because I know that some tachs wont run for a 4cyl, my buddies one aleast didnt it was 2k off.

When I did mine I took the gauge cluster off and look and the wires that went to it. I ran the wire down that ran the tach on the dash and connected the 2 wires together with a wire crimp. Worked fine and never gave me a prob. What tach are you using?
