Tablet in car

So I want to replace the radio with a tablet. I found a 3.5mm jack to 2 rca. Hook that to an rca splitter. Then 4 rca to the aftermarket wire harness for amp. Has anyone done this? Is it loud enough? Do you guys see any problems?

My kindle fire fits perfectly already but I'm going to upgrade to the nexus. Unsure on size. It has gps and Bluetooth. I really want the Bluetooth for the torque app. I've also found an app to transfer texts and calls to tablet from your phone over Bluetooth or wifi hotspot.

Hopefully it will be like a modern car!
What do you guys think? Have any cool ideas to add?

Heres what I got so far. Dont have the rca splitters yet so it's only running 2 ch but sounds good! I hooked the and remote to the ignition wire.

This will be sweet for sure. I know a guy that installed an Ipad in an evo as a head unit and it looked amazing. Alot of custom fab tho.

Hopefully next Friday I'll order the nexus 7. I need a noise filter for the amp remote. Getting some light buzz between songs.

I have just got a kindle keyboard (unseen before accepting in trade for welds) but it's non toucdh, the MP3 ony has skip single track and n/off but it does have a web browser and free 3g access that i'd like to at least tether for my lappy on the road or find out how to emulate the kindle with the 3g card in my netbook for free WWAN on the netbook instead of the kindle but i'm no code guru, hell ui'm still baffled trying to unhide BIOS options and whitelists
