I'm trying to finish up with my new setup. I cannot decide wich turbo to choose. It has to be a t4 because I already t4 tubular manifold w/undivided flange. The car is gonna be mostly track used. Here's what I have in mind AGP t66...To4S cover, .68 a/r tang undivided, P trim, Ball bearing. My other option T4/T04R...67mm, .58 a/r, P trim. I'm practically torn in between the 2. I would definately go for the AGP t66 if the boost recovery is gonna be promising between shifts. I wanna be able to boost up 35-40psi on race gas and still be effecient.

Ross/eagle combo
-Cylinder Head..Ported & Polished, Oringed,crower stage 3 cams,ss valves,crower spring&retainers,arps
-Forrester manifold,Q45 TB
-AEM EMS, 1000cc inj., -8 AN fuel feed,-6 AN return line, Bosch 044 fp,Fuel cell, aeromotive FPR, MSD DIS, COP ignition
-SBR race core FMIC, tial bov
-T4 tubular, tial 44mm wg, Short route 3" exhaust
-100 shot direct port
-built trans..etc

you might want to rethink the eagles as they are rated for 600hp

pick up a set of crowers...

talk to Jack montgomery(evil eagle) he ran a t4 t67 and ran high nines...good shit if you ask me

The 67 is a great wheel, and many people are currently using them on mid to low 9 second cars.

As for the above statement of tossing the Eagles, don't. I know personally that the Eagle rod will handle over 800WHP consistantly. Any rod is only as good as the rest of the motor. You could go out and get the strongest recommended rod out there, and shoot it through the block if something is not quite right. I have switched rods now, due to sponsorship reasons, but I feel as though the Eagles would have handled over the 1000WHP mark that we are at now.

As for the turbo though, I think you will be happier with the T67, just from my experience with the two turbos.

Its very funny that you say talk to Jake about the t4 t67 and then say don't use eagles because that is what Jake ran on his car ;)

I'm almost posative that Jake runs Crowers in his car ;)

I'm gonna give the eagles a shot. NO GUTS NO GLORY. Thats what i feel about them. If I grenade it i will have my backup shortblock built with stronger rods.

I have nothing against Eagles...I'm running them in my 6 bolt next year....

Jake Montgomery ran crowers and I believe still is...

The highest I have seen eagle run up to is 700...and have heard about it happening more then once....

Talk to Jak ehes a good guy and will help you with his thoughts on the turbo...

Good luck!

Ok . Enough about the Eagles before i'm convinced on replacing them. I'm so close to having my car done. I don't need any last minute doubts. Now back to T4... I'm leaning towards AGP T66 with ptrim .58 a/r non bb .Because i heard the T66 was way more effecient that T67. But the T67 has number though. Check this out

Thats the kinda numbers and power curve I'm aiming for.

I have run a Precision T67, with less than half of the things that you have now. I had well of 600 to the wheels. By the way, I was using Eagle rods and CP pistons.
Anyway. The T67 is one of the best turbos I have ever had.

I sent you a private msg about the Q45. Please check it out.

You might want to go with a larger turbine housing, .58 will be pretty restrictive.

Man how in the heck did he make that kind of power with 650s and stock lines. If I were you I would get the 67 with a .68 housing. I run my t70 with a .58 housing and the damn thing comes on like a raped ape, the 58 is definetly too small.

This weekend Im ordering T67 from FullRace.com T04S comp cover,P trim wheel, .68 a/r undivided hotside. I'm getting one step closer. I'm scraping the SBR Race fmic and going Water-to-Air Intercooler setup.

This turbo should be fun. Especially when i crank the boost 35psi plus. W/O worries.

Dam man coupe months ago I was looking forward to running you when the car was up and running now you going with a sick setup I might have to step my game up a little LOL. That new shop money paying dividens already I see;)

668 whp is a beautiful thing. I'd love to make that kinda power. How many pounds of boost?

Your profile says gt37r I take it that's just a duall ball bearing t67 ?
For quite a while garrett didn't make a gt37r. So AMS had a turbo made by PTE that was labeled the "GT37R" which is a dual b.b. t67 which has P-trim turbine wheel. I am probably getting this turbo. AMS has made 720+ on Dan Bajalis Evo. They also made 760 on an SRT-4 with this turbo. Pretty bad ass that I will be buying soon :thumb:
