That's a Big 28, not a T28

It's spools quicker and is a bit faster than a T28

Try giving them a call and ask for the mods on their car

Whoops..forgot to put big...LOL
Anyone else know the mods, if not ill try emailing them.

I'm willing to bet that the GSX they advertise as running an 11.8 had perfect tuning, race gas, and the good driver mod at least.

I know I'm bringing this back from the dead, but I was just thinking about this very topic today since I've come across a fairly good deal on one of these turbos today and trying to see if I can buy it. Wish they'd throw that sort of thing up there when they advertise that sorta thing. For all we know, it took 11.8 seconds to fall a 1/4 mile off a cliff. Lol. Anyone ever find out the answer to this? Wonder what injectors they were using, internal mods, intake manifold, tuning device, etc. Hmmm....

And being that this was posted over 3 years ago, it makes me think about the mods that were available at the time. Surely this time could be beaten but wonder at what extreme's or cost to get it there.

I had a galant vr4 that ran a 35r, hx40, small16g, evo 16g, big16g, 14b, and a t28, all with the same supporting mods, basicly all of them. I would rate the t28 about the same as a small 16g. Nice turbo, and if you can get a deal on one, good bolt on for a 2g. Paying full brand new price, i say evo 3 any day out of all the smaller turbos.

The one I'm trying to get is $120 shipped. Looks like it's in good shape and has 9 blades on the turbine side so I know it's the better one at least.
