I've researched and searched all over and haven't really found what I'm looking for. I have both stock fans in place, with the stock wiring harness. Currently I have the A/C fan jumpered to run full-time with ignition ON as shown in this article: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-electrical-wiring/437172-1g-dual-fan-ign-correct-way.html but to be honest, it takes longer than I would like to warm up in the morning. I'm not great at figuring out relay pins on factory wiring diagrams so I'm having a hard time figuring this out for myself: isn't there a simple way to wire in a new/aftermarket switch to turn the A/C fan on? To my understanding this jumper is connecting the full 12v+ power, so it wouldn't be wise to run a switch on that wire.
The idea I have, is to locate the "trigger" pin on the A/C fan relay from the switch, and just tap a switch to that wire. So IGN 12v ->switch ->fan relay trigger (aka pin 86/85) just to act as a trigger so everything else remains and acts as factory. This will also involve removing the full-time jumper, of course.
Does it sound like I'm on the right track here?
