1G Swerving at WOT!!

Got a flat tire at 2am last night. My home was only about 7 miles away so I babysit the car home. Never exceeding 20mph to prevent damage, to my wheels. I know the tire was going to be no good anymore. Anyways, I got a new tire same size as others 235/45/17 and drives well.

I'm running into issues when I do wot pulls. This thing feels like a boat in the ocean. It swerves like crazy and jerks the wheel out of my hand to the right. Before I lift my car and check for loose/damaged parts what would u guys suspect as the culprit?

Sounds like the retention ball for the tcase output is gone. I don't think that's your main problem, but its not a great sign.

Only other things that will cause rears to spin and fronts to not, are something with the front drive input. Either that's broke or the front diff is, or axles but i doubt them at this point from what you've reported back. Whether thay is the root cause of your swerving idk, usually it's caused by fronts pulling all over, but perhaps only one front tire is seeing the power and its fighting with the rears causing the swerving.

Take the trans out, tear it down and inspect it, or send it off for a rebuild. Jacks, TRE, TMZ, pick your poison.

Lucky the trans didn't grenade on me or transfer locking up ur right. Thanks for giving me another perspective haha. Things could've been a lot worse.

Sounds like you may have broken the front diff. It often puts a hole in the case.

Update. Turned out to be the transmission. my front diff more than likely grenaded and took out the trans case with it. I removed the back cover where 5th gear is and chucks of metal came out more than likely from the front diff.

I have installed my stock trans and back on the road again. No more swerving and best shifts I've felt since the other trans was on.
