I am looking to upgrade my suspension, shocks, and struts along with springs to lower it. My question was would a set of KYB struts and shocks go good with EIBACH springs? the reason I ask is because they are selling TOKICO kit with springs and shocks for a descent price but I dont know what to get. Here are the links:

I have the tokico blue struts and springs and I love it. It dropped my car moderately to eliminate most of the ugly wheel gap. All you need is the do it your self washer and bolt rear camber kit and an alignment and your good to go. There is definately a noticible difference in handling and less body roll.

wait are you talking about the tokico kit with the tokico springs as well ? and what is the camberkit? and how was installation?

Yes I am talking about the tokico kit with the blue shocks and the red springs. You will only need a camber kit for the back after you intstall the springs and struts the front barely changes. Here is a link to the Do it Your Self camber kit.Rear 2G Camber Kit Install

Also the installion was moderate. My friend and I installed everything in about 5 hours and keep in mind this was a first for both of us.

thanks good to know LOL :p im looking on spending around $400 is the tokico kit my only option?

Yes those are them. You don't want to go to low because your ride will become bouncy and very harsh. Also if you go to low you can not use the diy camber kit and you have to spend more money on a real camber kit. Besides you were talking about buying the eibach prokit which drops the car 1.2 inches. The tokico kit drops it 1.5. Here is perfect sideview of my car with the tokico kit installed.

Edit: Also, although from the picture it might not look like that big of a drop keep in mind i was completely lever with the car. The camera was about 1 foot off the ground. When you are standing up it looks much lower.

Just don't go lower than 2" unless you decide to get coil overs. There are already some height issues with speed bumps and trailers etc. on the stock height. When my other DSM was lowered on Eibachs, I would scrape and bend the front bumper getting onto a flat bed truck.

I have the tokico blue combo as do a few others and we are all very happy with it. I dont do any racing but the handling has definitely improved and so has the looks if thats all youre wanting. I think its the perfect height to be at...not too much wheel gap...not too little.

thanks alot did it improve ride quality?

Well it depends on what you mean by does it improve ride quality. Bumps are a little more harsh because you are lower to the ground and the setup is quite a bit stiffer than stock. But you car will be alot more responsive, handle better and be more predictable around bends. In my opinion all the benefits by far overweigh the a slightly harsher ride.

thanks everyone i appreciate it how long does it usually take to install the kit
