How do I check if the front subframe is straight/square. I just removed it from the car and I want to ensure it's ok before I put it back. The car was in an accident before I bought it years ago.

Does anyone have any measurements (like bolt center to bolt center) I can use to verify if it's ok?

Thanks,

Tom

Either the bolts will line up, or they wont. Just take your time installing the frame and itll be as straight as it can be- either way, you of course will need an alignment after, and when you get it on the rack, you will know how straight everything is by the readout, for example, if the caster is WAY off on one side, you can assume that the body or frame is a bit out of wack.

I was hoping to check it before putting it all back together. Right now the complete front end is apart. No engine, tranny, any suspension arms, even the lights and bumper are out. It's down to the frame. I'd hate to put it all back together and have to take it all apart again.

It there any way to check it while it's out of the car?

Does anyone have the dimensions? Maybe from CAPS or something? Or maybe from doing it themselves?

If anyone has a subframe out of the car now. Could you measure it for me so I can compare?
