straight pipe?

has anyone heard how a straight pipe on a 1g turbo dsm sounds?

No, you're wrong. My car is only a downpipe and its quieter at idle than some friends with f-bodies w/aftermarket exhausts. And they have cats and mufflers. Now WOT is different. But you really shouldnt be going WOT in front of LEOs. I got pulled last night and the guy said nothing about it.

Yeah, the turbocharger muffles the exhaust quite a bit, so at idle and under normal acceleration it won't be very loud. The only time the exhaust will seem loud is at WOT when the wastegate opens allowing some exhaust to bypass the turbine.

I have a striaght pipe and the sound is perfect. Its not like a fart and it isnt like a honda. Its a deep roar kinda. But thats the muffler there I have thermal research development exhaust. I love the sound tho, isnt to loud but isnt to quite.
