Stupid Question

I have a question I ran across a 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. its only problem is it needs a new coilpack.

I know the coil pack is different on this year but are the 1990 verison a pain the ass to mod or easy. ie are the parts a lot different then 91-94's

a couple parts are different
the coil pack, isc, ect.
its not that much different and you can still find alot of their parts at the junkyards

but as far as mods go still run the same as 91-94's

the coils are the same the're just wired different,got a 90 coilpack on my 93 all i did was rewire it and i was fine

awsome thank you. This thing is actually a good price. I know its the coil pack because he has another 90 and put the coil pack on this one and it started right up

but as far as mods go still run the same as 91-94's

The awds also have a tranny/transfercase spline count that is unique to 1990

But as far as mods go, they will still be the same as 91-94 other than things like 6/7bolt, 3/4bolt

i have a 90 tsi and its really not that much of a pain, as for the difference you could put a 9* tranny and transfercase in it as long as those two match and i am running a 93 n/t coilpack on mine but i have you beat i only paid 300 for mine Have fun
