Stupid Question <------ (about Turbos)

I was just wondering what trim was? I have a garret T25, how do I tell what the trim is?

if i remember correctly to figure trim take the square of the exducer and divide by the square of the inducer.

Who told you that you have a T-25?
1g's were supplied with a 14b, T-25's came with 2g DSM's

I bought it. the box says T25 but I just don't know what the trim is?

did I metion I really don't know crap about cars. I recieved a 1991 Tsi for free. The engine was messed up and the guy sold the turbo off it. What would you recomend as far as a turbo goes?

the stock 1g turbo is the 14b. If you want to upgrade then a 16g would bolt right on.
