I am rebuilding my 99 GSX 7 bolt block and could not decide if I want to buy a stroker kit or just buy some pistons and rods. My motor only has 54k miles on it. I am already pulling the head and upgrading it so i thought i might as well do the block.

I want to to keep the stock bore. is there a stroker kit made to standard measurements?

Should I replace the Crank? it only has 54k miles on it and buy just the rods and pistons and bearings?

What is a good site where i can find a stroker kit for a good price?

What needs to be done to the block if i decide to stroke it?

thanks

well.. i don't know what to tell you, unless you tell us your goals.

What turbo you plan on running? whats your HP goal ?

Oh, and you don't need to do anything to your motor YET, unless you really want to.

your 7bolt still has PLENTY of life left in it and plus they can handle 400+ hp easily

but its upto you.

well i am upgrading m turbo to a Hanhn 20g. I just want to reach close to if not 500hp. I know the 7 bolt internals can handle up to 450hp. my main concern is should i get a new crank or can i just use my same one. what can the crank handle?

Thanks
Tony
