can you use a stroker engine as a daily driver? if so can you do it on pumped gas 87or 93 octane? I've read in the forums that I could just take a Hydaui sonata block and bolt the two together is that correct? or is there some machiining that is needed? would it be cheaper to just get a turbo kit or to make my car into a stroker?

Alot of different questions my friend.I will answer the stroker question...(block,rods,crank,pistons)yes you can...it comes as a kit and some machinig will be required but yes you can (daily driver). I have ten thousand miles on mine.

What type of gas? do you use and does it burn more gas than your normal 2.0L engine?

I run 91 octane daily but 104 octane at the track(AV-GAS).As far as the gas milage goes, yes it uses little bit more fuel but I have the car tuned for daily driving but at the track I'll burn a quater tank in 10 passes(roughly)."Stroking a motor" does not have much effect on gas milage, it's the bolt-on's that have an effect. There is one other thing that effects gas milage greatly.......Ahhhhh.......Hmmmm.....OH YA.......YOUR FOOT!!!!!!!...hahahaha. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Yes, definitely.

Yes, as long as it is properly tuned for that low of an octane rating.

Yes, the Hyundai 2.4L block, crank, and cam gears and use the 4G63 parts for the rest.

Standard machining applies.

It would be cheaper to turbo your existing motor. Read this.
