Stroker clearancing question...

Ok guys I did search and I read the post below:

I would have posted in that thread, but I can't because I am still in new member status.

Ok question: I have put together the bottom end with the 100mm crank and eagle rods. Now the above thread stated you wil need to clearance the main caps, the block(in one place), and the oil pan some.....is this Always the case?

I ask because my motor spins without hitting anything and I have not done any clearanceing....Is there a certain amount of clearance I should check with a feeler guage?

If I need to grind on anything I want to do it now before I get everything else on.

well 17 views and one month later and no repy...Does anyone know the answer to this?
The motor spins fine by hand, but I am worried about parts flexing while the motor is running and there being interferance that I don't get by turnign the motor over by hand.

It is different depending on what rods you use, some guys get away without clearancing the caps some require extensive grinding. I used 1g big rods in mine and had to grind both of the caps and the bottom of the cylinder a little bit.

If you're worried that much, remove a little bit of material just in case.
