Hello Everyone. It’s been a long time since I’ve had an update. Life just took off and I had no time for the car
. Graduated from pharmacy school, got engaged, bought a house and now getting married. I realized I’ve owned the car for a long time and I really need to get it running, so at the start of the year I decided I’d finish the car and hopefully get to use it as my send off vehicle in the wedding. (Which is in two weeks) I’ve done a lot so far. The list of things done include:
-trailered the car to my house
-installed new fuel pump with an fittings and redid the wiring for the awd conversion
-plumbed the hoses and installed the fuel rail
-installed the wiring harness
-bled the clutch.
-bled the brakes
-added all fluids
-installed the exhaust
-did the timing
-installed timing covers
-installed all the belts using 3 belt conversion for alternator relocation
-spark plugs and wiring
-installed the MBC inside the car
-connected aempro (sorry I don’t have Dsmlink
)
-made brackets to hold 1g radiator
- installed the intercooler piping
Things to do
-start the car (will try to turn over this weekend)
-battle any gremlins
-test drive and make sure it can run and operate safely
-reinstall the interior
-install hood pins
-finish wrapping the car (no time for paint at all)
-install carbonetics pieces that I ordered at the start of the year.
-detail the car.
I’ll post pictures of what I have. Hopefully I can get it there on time! Lmk what you think so far

fuel pump before

Fuel pump after

MBC location. (Love my nut-sert kit)

Installed and plumbed up

Prep for wrap

Double nut method to take out front stud for mid timing belt cover

Carbonetics vented fenders

Mocking up the fenders for install
I know I don’t have many pictures but I’ll try to take more as I go along. FYI this is a surprise for the wedding. The only people who know about this is my fiancé and groomsmen.
