stock turbo replacement??

I want to go bigger than the t25 that i have now because i am fully built now and the t25 is far from what the motor will handle i am trying to price tuning software and new turbo. I seen a few turbonetics turbos that wer pretty nice i think .57 but sence i already have a tubular manifold and external dump i need to find a turbo that is bigger and better than the t25 but that will bolt directly in its place with no modding

Links would be helpful. I have also been reading up on the 16g alot but know one wants to sell thers .

You could also go the holset route with the BEP housing. What kind of power goals do you have? Itll be way easier for us to help point you in the right direction with that info!

A 16g would be just fine for that application.. Even a 14b (1g stock turbo) would get you to those goals. A buddy of mine made over 300 awhp on a 14b. I would look into a 16g if I were you!

First look on ebay, and classifieds, look there. get a small 16g and the supporting mods or bigger like the evo turbo, just look for upgrades for your situation lots of thread on upgrading your turbol look on the forums and youll fiind more than enough information.

Small 16G, for sure. Same spool as a 14B with more top-end punch. Easily 250whp capable at 18-20psi on a good tune; can drive to a mid 13 as well.

Just to clarify, if the car in your profile is the one you're talking about putting the turbo on, it shouldn't have a T25 on it unless someone unknowingly put one there. The T25's are found only on 2G's from the factory.

thats not true, theres always 16gs in the classifieds. im waiting on some to get to me, but theres other people that have them on hand.

I think that you will want more than 250whp for sure....this is an addiction

With that being said, i would go with any type 16g (Mitsu) and supporting mods to start off.

Camfast is right, boost is like crack for the sober guy! Once you start getting a good taste you want more and more till you end up like Shep! hahaha!! And again to piggy back Camfast, a 16g with some supporting mods as found in the upgrade path in the "tech" dropdown thingy and youll be set!
