So I'm alittle confused, and also new to dsms all together. I have a 97 eclipse gst. and I cant see around the bumper very well enough to make a decision.

does the eclipse come with a front mount intercooler? Or is it just piping from the turbo straight to the throttle body coming from the fender?

thanks for the help:thumb:

The piping goes from your turbo to your stock side mount which runs to throttle body from the passenger side mount.

If its in the stock location, its not an FMIC, the FM in FMIC stands for FRONT MOUNT.

The stock IC is a Side Mount.

That aluminum radiator... is a side mount intercooler.

Call it semantics if you will, but these terms are not interchangeable.

Besides the FMIC part, miguel is right, an intercooler is a form of radiator.

And I think the OP knows where the stock IC is by now... :D

BTW miroDSM, 'clean' aluminum is worth more than soda cans per lb. I used to separate pop can tabs from the cans. Ya I know, sad, but I used to move a lot of recycleables a few years ago and it made a difference.
