I am currently fixing a smashed front end 2g 1998 eagle talon. I am keeping the stock turbo in, but have found a fmic kit for 349. I was wondering if a 3.5 x 28 x 10.5 fmic is too big to put on the stock t25 turbo. It is a decently medium sized intercooler so I figure the turbo shouldnt have a problem or experience any power loss. Does anyone have any experience with this size of fmic on the stock turbo?

There will be no benefit with upgrading to an FMIC with the stock T-25, infact, Increased Lag, do to the t-twosmall having to fill a larger initial volume.

Instead Look for a larger Sidemount IC, such as one from a Supra.

If you really want to go with an FMIC, get a larger turbo, there are many choices to fit your needs.
