stock 2g alarm and starter/ignition problems

okay the only way i cant start my car is if i use a jumper wire instead of the relay that is behind the cd player in the dash. My starter works turns over fine when i get rid of the relay. So i bought the new relay plug it in and still power cuts out and the engine does not turn over.

But the keyless entry buttons lock and unlock the doors but there is no horn noises when i lock or unlock or anything like that when i hit the button a bunch of times. But when i unlock the doors the dome lights turn on and turn of when i lock. Wut is up with my stock alarm system? Where can i check for problems b/c obviously it is disabling hte igntion and i dont want to #### anything up by not having that relay piece in there.

The alarm doesn't sound the horn when armed or shut-off, no sounds other than when tripped.

You do know about the clutch interlock? That you have to hold the clutch down to start the car?

it's very possible that someone just cut the speaker/horn/PA thing's wiring and left the alarm? Something I was told I should do with mine when I had it (but the guy was a complete dip$hit...)

problem solved thanks a lot guys. It was the clutch disengagement. I tried starting with the clutch down with the bad relay and it didnt start. Then with the new relay i only started in nuetral and never pushed the clutch down. Thanks
