I have a 92 talon awd and I am having some trouble. The car runs and drives really great, but when I leave it sit over night it takes more than 20 turns to start up. Once it starts and I drive it, I park it for a while and it will start right away. The first few cranks it doesn't sound like it's going to start. after about 10 or 15, it will hiccup a little and sound like it's trying to start. Finally between 20 to 30 cranks, it starts and idles pretty high for a little bit and then stabilizes back at 850. So, it seems like something is warming up, and it takes it a long long time to do so. I'm thinking I may need to rewire the fuel pump? Also, I noticed that there is a bolt missing in the middle of the fuel rail. I run a stock set up fyi. Any help will be very appreciated.
thanks

Sounds like your fuel pump is allowing fuel to leak back into tank. This is a problem with installing an aftermarket, if the o ring is not properly installed. But if you are running a stock set up this may not be the case, just sounds like a symptom I have seen before.

its a problem at the tank. i had that problem when i put my 255 in my tank. the hard line was rusted a lil and i didnt think much of it. my fuel pressure was way down from it.
