Hi, everyone, I am having some trouble with my car starting.

When I start it cranks real slow about twice and then the 3rd or 4th crank it starts up. Is this an issue with just the battery being old? It's probly 5 years old. I recently charged it and it still has a hard time starting.

I tried searching the forums and didn't find anything to closely related.

Sounds to me like an old battery.

I'd take it in and have them test it, (Autozone, Advance, etc..) That way it can be ruled out and then you have a core there for the replacement.

Check your battery and your alternator output. Could also be bad/corroded connections.

But I would agree with the lean toward battery.

Yep. Just like we were all thinking, it was the battery.

Forgot you can just get them tested at autozone.

Thanks for the input as always, fellas.
