ssautochrome o2 housing

I had the re-routed 2.5" O2 housing and like others have already said, I had to enlarge the bolt holes for it to fit right, after that no problems for the few months I had it .

Well, I guess I'll give my review about the ssautochrome o2 housing dump.
I just got done installing my 3inch turbo back magan racing exhaust system.
On a 1992 talon awd. Mating an ssautochrome o2 housing internal dump to a turbo back magen racing exhaust on the stock 14b is pretty much imposible.
First, the 02 housing is a 2.5 inch. Not a 3 inch.
The Bracket thats bolted to the bock behind the down pipe and o2 housing that holds the water feed line form the thermostat housing to the oil cooler/filter housing, should be removed or somehow modified. The ssautochome 02 housing is shorter and more of an angle than the original 1g o2 housing. This is where i had problems. The holes for the bolts on the flange that connects to the turbo are smaller or actually miss aligned. No problem, the are easily filed or grind to fit. The problem as I said, is on the flange to the down pipe. I didn't tried it on the stock exhaust but on the megan racing exhaust dp on a 1992 talon AWD, it will not bolt on. You could but the hangers are not going to align, the dp is going to be too high that it will make contact with the oil pan and the center differential drive bar thing (don't remember the name of it. My apologies).
After a busted water line that I finally repaired and almost a weeks worth of trying to fit this o2 housing with the magen racing turbo back, I decided that it was not worth it and just installed back the stock o2 houising.
Yes, the ssautochrome o2 housing is very pretty, shines like no other and has very decent welds LOL really!!! but it was worthless to my set up and my type of car. I'm just going to check with punishment racing to see how their o2 housing are.

Merry Christmas to every dsmer in the world.:thumb:

Alright, now that ive had mine for a full year I can properly say this thing has lasted an is a good deal. Al I needed to do was open up the bolt holes just a little bit. No cracks, although it isnt too shiny anymore, after a year of daily driver use. However, no cracks, no rust. so GOOD BUY!
