Spruce Grove,
I was just wondering a little bit more about these, there are a few old threads with mixed reviews and I was just wondering how they have held up etc. It kind of sounded like the turbo manifolds were no good and 420a ones were ok is this right? Also it is Product #
Mvc-ER009I that you guys are talking about right? http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1428 has two and the second is obx while first I am considering on buying if they are good. One thing is that I live in Canada so temp fluctuates a lot and am wondering if they are bad for cracking which lots of cheap ones are.

I was talking with a guy today about ssauto chrome stuff and from what I understand most of their stuff is almost exact replica of megan race parts. I actually heard that ssauto chrome is a part of megan racing. This has not been verified you can do the research but I do know they make intercoolers for evolutions and A guy told me that he bought one, did a compression test on it and a core test and they were actually better than the stock ones on the evolutions. Also it was the same dimensions of the evo intercoolers. Now I would not recommend the obx just from experience, I had a friend that used one on his fwd turbo 92 talon and the thing cracked in a week.....the space from the head to the weld on the tubes is so thin he burnt through 2 exhaust manifold gaskets in the first week before the weld actually cracked....only 10psi of boost......I would recommend ssauto chrome and then give us feedback....good luck!

People, please note that this is a 420a topic, not 4g63. The SSAutochrome should be fine! I have the exact same setup, just make sure that those two bolts/nuts that connect the header to the downpipe are tightened down VERY well, otherwise the downpipe will seperate from the header and you'll have to find some bolts/nuts to reattach it with. Also, if your header comes with the exhause recirculation bung, make sure that is also tightened down exteremely well, otherwise it'll come off too. LOL

Thanks KazooGS-T, I think that I will order this header. From searching it looks like they are good but there isn't a whole lot of info on them.
